In the last 17 days, we have felt the Holy Spirit stir our hearts to pursue deeper intimacy with the Father.
Our response to this stirring has been the just concluded 16 days of fasting and prayer and the on-going 6 hours of praying in the spirit daily at 3am. If you have been a part of these sessions for any length of time, you can attest to the mighty acts of God we have witnessed.
Deeper levels of intimacy with the Father have been birth. Spirits have been revived. Bodies have been healed. Minds have been renewed. Families have been restored. Testimonies of breakthroughs keep pouring in and this is just the beginning!
As we continue our 40 days of praying in the spirit and kick off our 2 hours of praying in the spirit in the evening for the next 7 days, here are 9 things we believe that God will do in and through us:
- Repentance and consecration
- Re-calibration and re-alignment
- Testing and strengthening our faith
- A transition period into newness
- Preparation for an important work or task
- Transformation
- Escape from the bondage or slavery of sin
- Nourishment and growth in the Spirit
- God’s counsel, purposes and will being established.
As we go deeper with the Father on this journey of deeper intimacy, He beckons on us to:
- Strip off every unnecessary weight that hinders us from following Him.
- Let go off the sin which so easily and cleverly entangles us.
- Run with endurance and active persistence the race that is set before us.
- Looking away from all that will distract us
- Focusing our eyes on Jesus, who is the Author and Perfecter of our faith.
- Do not grow weary and lose heart.
Our sincere is that as you plug into all that God is doing in this season, your joy will be complete. The Lord will garrison your heart with His peace and He fill your mouth with shouts of thanksgiving for the great and mighty things He will do.
